ixPressia has released the new Colour Label software as part of the Print Engine range of software.
The new package adds to the range by allowing design and printing of full colour variable data.
The label designer user interface is simple to use and runs on a standard PC. It allows the user to build up a label with pictures, background graphics, bar codes, numbers and words, all of which can be variable or static, in full colour.
Jim Taylor, MD of ixPressia, notes that “Our new software technology enables high quality variable data printing in full colour, including variable images at the full speed of the Xaar 1001 print heads. This is an exciting technology, ideally suited for ID cards and short run label printing and is generating a great deal of interest from traditional printers wanting to go digital.”
