Xaar and ixPressia show high-speed Label Printing

Xaar and ixPressia are pleased to announce that ixPressia’s new colour label software, ‘Print Engine Colour Label’, will be demonstrated with the latest Xaar 1001 greyscale inkjet printheads at the Sino Label 08 expo 4-7^th March 2008 in Guangdong, China.

This will be the first public display of ixPressia’s new colour variable data technology for high speed print applications. Several projects that use this technology are already under way.

The Chinese label market is projected to grow at 15% -20% annually, with full variable data being an important segment. Xaar’s presence at the show underlies its strong commitment and strength in this sector. On the Xaar booth the company will demonstrate high quality, high-speed narrow web variable data printing using ixPressia colour label software.

ixPressia’s new label product is optimised for real world label printing applications, and includes advanced technology to maximise speed and throughput. A unique feature is the ability to generate label images in real time in full colour with variable data. Its greyscale screening technology is the perfect partner for the innovative Xaar 1001 greyscale printhead.
